I work with people navigating grief, loss, late diagnosed ADHD/AuDHD, addiction/self-medicating, reactivity, rumination, rejection sensitivity and relationship struggles (with self and/or others).
I am honoured to help people with disabilities at various life ages and stages as they redefine career, capacity and identity.
I enjoy working with couples and families, with a special interest in emotion-focused therapy, structural family systems, and unhelpful attachment styles. All behaviour makes sense when we understand the context, and so narrative therapy is fundamental to my practice.

We are complex , and our issues often overlap into personal and professional settings. An integrative therapist understands that intersectionality must be explored, and context is everything.
Therapy is a safe and confidential space to explore our thoughts, beliefs and feelings. Are these serving us, or anchoring us in unhelpful habits?
Humans are hard-wired for connection, and yet so many of us feel profoundly alone. In therapy we can explore loneliness, in all of it's manifestations (masking, avoiding, addiction)
How we show up with others at home, school, work and in community impacts our self-esteem, mental health, and quality of life. When our values are aligned with our actions, we feel good.
Mood Disorders (depression, dysthymia, anxiety, panic)
Intimate Partner Violence (coercive control, risk assessment, related supports)
Personality Disorders (interpersonal challenges, self-esteem, self harm behaviours)
Neurodivergence (impacts on identity, reactivity, functioning, co-occurring conditions)
Substance Use Disorders (and harm reduction)
Career Exploration & Guidance (burnout, conflict, assessments & planning)

Whether you're exploring ADHD, ASD, AuDHD, OCD, OCPD, anxiety, depression, trauma, or another psychiatric diagnosis, understanding yourself can bring relief, clarity, and self-compassion. Together we'll make sense of your experiences—not through labels alone, but through the unique story of your life.

Although each of us travels a different path, the desire to live authentically, with intention and purpose, is universal. Therapy provides a safe and confidential space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with who you are and your life's purpose.
Life rarely follows a straight path. Relationship changes, grief, burnout, parenting, identity, chronic illness, and unexpected transitions can leave us feeling disconnected from ourselves. Therapy offers space to reconnect with the strengths, values, and wisdom that have been within you all along.
Career decisions are rarely just about work. They often touch our identity, values, relationships, and hopes for the future. Whether you're considering a career change, experiencing workplace stress, or wondering what's next, we'll explore what feels authentic for you.
Rebuilding connection with our feelings, our values, and our passions involves being radically present and intentional. It requires cultivating self-compassion and grace as we tackle shame and the parts we've hidden from ourselves and others. It is the most worthwhile and rewarding gift we can give to ourselves and the world.

Every person carries a unique story, shaped by relationships, experiences, and the communities to which we belong. While our journeys are deeply personal, the longing to live authentically, to feel understood, and to belong is shared by all humans.
Therapy offers a safe place to reflect, process emotions, and reconnect with your values, strengths, and intuition. These will guide you as you navigate life; you do not need to walk this path alone.
I offer neurodivergent affirming in-person sessions in Parksville and Nanoose Bay, BC. These spaces are quiet, calm and sound-proofed with adjustable lighting and fidgets.
I can meet you where you are at using the Jane App, a safe and user-friendly online platform. I can also meet via telephone, Teams, FaceTime or Doxy.
Counselling support should be accessible. I offer a sliding scale for those in need, including people on disability benefit, medical leave and maternity leave.
